I would say that the first solution presented at http://www.macosxhints.com is more for the technically inclined and the iAddressX application is easily installed for beginners. Related to this is how to add a link on your web site in order to let people contact you via Skype. Apparently it works like a mailto link. Just type “callto” instead of “mailto” and you are set to go.
